Bill Haley & His Comets / Rock Around The Clock

Bill Haley & His Comets는 최초의 백인 락그룹으로 1952년 결성되어 1981년 Haley의

사망시까지 활동함. 특히 1954년 말부터 1956년까지 빌보트 챠트 20위권내에 9곡을

랭크시키며 그들의 전성기를 맞았다.

그들의 대표곡인 Rock Around The Clock는  Max C. Freedman과 James E. Myers의

곡으로  Bill Haley & His Comets에 의해 1956년 발표되어 미국과 영국 싱글챠트

공히 1위에 오른 곡이다.
