The Allman Brothers Band 1969년 미국 Florida주에서 결성된 락 밴드로 Duane Allman(리드 기타), Gregg Allman(보컬및 키보드), Dickey Betts(보컬 및 기타), Berry Oakley (베이스 기타), Butch Trucks(드럼)  그리고 Johanny Johanson(드럼)으로 구성되었다. 리더이자 당시 미국에서 대표적인 기타의 달인으로 인정받던 Duane Allman은 1971년 모터사이클 사고로 타계하였다.
