Brenda Lee

본명 Brenda MaeTarpley로 1944년 미국 Georgia주에서 출생. 50년 다니던 초등학교 대표로 지역의 장기자랑에 출연하여 1등을 수상, 그후 지역 라디오, TV등 출연시작하였다.. 1956년 Decca 레코드사와 계약 하며 Jambalaya등 7곡 발표을 계기로 본격적인  가수 활을 시작함그후 Ed Sullivan Show, Steve Allen Show, Tennessee Ernie Ford Show, Dick Clark Show, Bob Hope Show,등 수많은 국내외 Show에 출연하여 명성을 떨치며 1957년 Dynamite, 1959년 Sweet nothings(빌보드챠트 4위), 60년 I'm Sorry(챠트 1위), 61년 Fool No.1 (챠트 3위), 62년 Break it to Me Gently(2위),  All Alone Am I (챠트 3위) 등을 Hit 시키며 어리고 작지만(150cm이하의 단신임)  폭발적인 가창력으로 "Miss Dynamite"라는 별명을 얻으며 각광받는 신인스타로 부상하였다. 1 I Want to be Wanted  00:00 2.
