미국 빌보드 랩 싱글챠트 1위를 비롯하여 빌보드 핫싱글 챠트 8위, 호주, 벨기에, 화란, 프랑스, 뉴질랜드, 스웨덴등

많은 국가에서 챠트 1위에 오르는등 전세계적인 대히트를 하였다.

이곡은 Rick James와 Alonzo Miller가 작곡한 Super Freak의 반주에 MC Hammer가 랩을 입혀 곡을

만들었으나 Rick James가 저작권 관련 소송을 제기하자 공동 작곡으로 하기로 합의하였는데

 Rick James는 이곡의 히트로 수백만불의 저작권을 벌었다고 알려졌다.

나는 클래식부터 올드 팝, 헤비메탈과 컨츄리 그리고 가요와 연주곡, 크로스오버와 뉴에이지를 불문하고

모든 장르의 음악을 좋아하는데 그중 유일하게 별로 좋아하지 않는 음악이 바로 랩뮤직이다,

그렇지만  랩중 이곡만은 좋아하는 몇곡중 한곡이다.
