며칠전 Johnny Burnette의 흘러간 팝 몇곡을 올렸는데 오늘은 그의 아들인 Rocky Burnette의

 Tired of Toein' The Line을 올린다.

 'Toe The Line'이란 말은 육상경기등의 시합에서 출발선에 발끝을 대고 출발 신호를

기다린다는 의미인데 이곡에서는 여자의 신호를 기다리며 항상 긴장하고 대기하는

일에 지쳐 여자를 잊겠다는 내용이다.

Rocky Burnette은 1953년 테네시주 멤피스에처 왕년의 전설적인 록 가수

 Johnny Burnette의 아들로

그의 데뷔앨범 Son Of Rock And Roll에서 싱글커트 된 'Tired Of Toein' The Line'은

1980년 빌보드 싱글차트 8위까지 오른 그의 대표곡이다.

Toe The Line이란 말은 육상경기등에서 출발선 앞에 발가락을

 대고 서서 출발신호를 기다린다는 의미이다.
