Nana Mouskouri / The White Rose of Athens

The White Rose of Athens는 1961년 그리스를 소개하는 다큐멘타리 영화에 독일어 버젼 Weiße Rosen

 aus Athen으로 처음 삽입된 이후 많은 사랑을 받은 곡으로 전래 민요를 Mamos Hadjidakis가 편곡하였다.

 당시 독일에서만 백만부 이상 판매되며 Nana Mouskouri을 유명세를 타게 한곡으로 여러개 국어로 발표되었으며

 The White Rose of Athens가  Nana Mouskouri의 별명으로 자리매김하는 그녀의 대표 곡이 되었다.

 

내가 Nana Mouskouri에게 빠지게 된 계기가 된 곡이기도하다.
