 The Anniversary Song의 원곡은 루마니아의 작곡자인 Iosif Ivanovici의

Donauwellen Walzer (다누브의 작은 물결)을 이곡을 직접 부른 Al Jolson 과

Saul Chaplin이 직접 작사하여 1946년 영화 The Jolson Strory에 삽입되었다.

그후 이곡은 결혼 기념일을 비롯해 각종 기념일에 즐겨 부르고 듣는 곡으로 널리 사랑받고 있다.
