키는 할아버지 보다 반이상은 더 컸지만

(할아버지께서 태어나신날 구입한 그 시계는 

할아버지의 보물이자 긍지였는데

할아버지께서 돌아가신 순간

정지하여 그후 영원히 멈추었지요)

(조용히 옆에 서서 지켜보니 종소리는 우둔해졌지만

그래도 시간은 정확히 지켰지요.

그런데 할아버지께서 돌아가시는 순간

시계는 뚝 멈추어 더이상 작동하지 않았네요)
