Shelby Fredrick "Sheb" Wooley (1921 – 2003) 미국 오클라호마주에서 태어난 배우, 성우겸 가수로 영화 High Noon, TV 드라마 Rawhide등에 출연하였다. That's My Pa는 Sheb Wooley의 자작곡으로 1961년말경 발표되어 1962년 빌보드 컨츄리챠트 1위에 오른 그의 첫 히트곡이자 대표곡이다. 어린시절 6명의 자녀중 한명으로 태어나 매년 가을이면 아버지가 경작하던  면화밭에서 면화를 따고 아버지는 시장에 팔러 나가시던 추억을 노래한다. 비록 어렵고 빈곤한 삶이였지만 저녁이면 시장에서 다녀오시는 낙천적인  아버지의 모습과 웃음소리가 생생하게 기억되는.....
